Just a rose trying to survive in a big and cruel garden...

Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind...

I watched it yesterday. I really liked it. It is a fantastic film about love but it is not one of the romantic comedies we are used to. It is just different. Jim Carrey was so different too. When he is a serious guy, he can be very handsome :) I really couldn't believe that Jim Carrey can act such a serious, shy and introvert man. Kate Winslet was also great with her colourful hair. I liked the end of the film too. I would almost cry with them.

Anyway the film is about erasing painful memories for ever. When I read the summary before I went to the movie, I said to myself I should see this film and learn how to get rid of painful memories. But after seeing the film, now I came to this conclusion that you can erase your memories from your brain, you can even erase the one from your mind but never ever from your heart.

When I had the same pain, people used to tell me "Stand on, rosygarden. Just time will heal your wounds. Just wait and let the time pass by. You will forget soon" And I kept asking "But when? and when?" I tried to wait but time didn't pass by. It just seemed to stop and my pain grew deeper and deeper every day, every hour, even every minute. Then time began to pass by slowly and slowly , slowlier than ever but passed by in the end but I couldn't forget. Worse than this, I remembered every detail. Those were the most painful times of my short life, which I will never ever forget. Anyway time passed by, weeks, then months, then years passed by. Memories faded now, like old pictures. They can't hurt me now as much as at that time. Wounds are healed but there are still scars which will never go. So you never forget, just the memories fade a little. That is all you have after waiting for your wounds to get better: faded memories which comes to your mind and may still hurt you like hell when you hear a song or when you read a poem or when you watch a movie.

Anyway on the whole, it is a different great film about love and forgetting.

This blog smells love:P
Every time I read your posts I travel back to my memories.
I have pain, you have pain..pain, pain, pain...

They both erased their memory in the film but what happened at the end? They found each other again. So, this is destiny..

You are very smart, ladybird :P
Do you mean I couldn't find my destiny yet? If I had done, I woudn't be like this here still. Anyway, Allah knows the best and whatever Allah wishes for me is the best for me.Although I think like that, it is really hard to submit so easily to the destiny. You know it is easier said than done...

Accepting your "destiny and its leading" is maybe the most difficult deed in the world. But.. At the end of the day, you get the "relief" that you can get only from this difficult acceptence..
